Saffron is the world's most expensive spice and is prized for its unique flavour and vibrant colour. Autumn flowering plants, the delicate flowers with those highly-prized vibrant red stigmas, can be harvested once the flowers open, and the precious threads dried for use in cooking throughout the year.
